TASTE OTTAWA EVENT
For one week, participating restaurants will have the opportunity to entice customers to explore their unique culinary offerings through a set of introductory menu items all set at a pre-fixed price. Providing a sampling of dishes throughout the event will allow for the possibility of long-term customer acquisition.
Participants will view this as an opportunity to try new tasty meal options, restaurant atmospheres and experiences (ones that they may not have considered before). Participating restaurants can capitalize on this opportunity by using it as an invitation for new customers to sample what they have to offer. Taste Ottawa is all about providing an influx of customers to restaurants in the Ottawa area. If you are looking to expand your customer base by enticing residents and tourists in a unique and profitable way, look no further than participating in this event.
SPECIAL MENUS
Restaurants that are interested in participating would have the following menu structure options to choose from:
menu-structure option #1 – pre-fixed featured item menu:
Restaurants can choose to include a unique Taste Ottawa Menu that will feature a selection of items at a pre-fixed price. Customers would have the option to choose one or more options from this list. These items would act as introductory feature items and would only be available during the week of the event.
Menu-structure option #2 – pre-fixed coursed Menu:
Restaurants can choose to create a customized Taste Ottawa pre-fixed 3-5 course menu at a reasonable rate. Each menu could feature several options for customers to choose from within each course (e.g. 3 options for appetizers, 3 options for the main course, and 3 options for dessert). Restaurants could also choose to do multiple 3-5 course menus set at various pre-fixed increments (e.g. a $50 three-course menu and an $80 three-course menu). These menus would only be available during the week of the event.
